Mate of mine came within an ace of killing himself. He was testing an unvented gas heater that was temporarily in his main room in winter. It worked fine so since it was quite a cold day, left it running. His DiL rang him and when he didnt answer a couple of times when he was expected to, came around in person and found him unconscious. She is a senior nurse and knew what the problem was likely to be. Pure fluke that she happened to ring him then.
Took a long time to recover fully.

You need a splitting maul, which is an axe with a wedged head, or a grenade, or a hydraulic log splitter.
Sharpness is not an asset, dimensions are.

I mostly agree with all that TNP says but personally have not had a lot of success with a grenade. Splitting maul works best for me or, for very large diameter, rather than working my way around the edges I borrow a tractor mounted splitter - they are *fun*

Why would an invertor disconnect at lower frequency? It should be able to match any frequency.
You could always ask your two next door neighbours to supply you with an extension lead. Then you'd have 3 phases.
That is not an explanation. There's no reason to disconnect.
Why would that need hot water? I've always used the cold tap, even when a hot one is available. Why wait for the heat to get through the pipe? Soap dissolves at any temperature.
