Laundry faucet leak

Nov 25, 2006 2 Replies

I have a 2 handle brass laundry faucet that leaks around the spout when it's swiveled from one tub to the other. There appears to be nut holding the spout to the base. The spout has some play. Can the faucet leak be repaired ?

If while playing with your spout, it starts to leak, then you have a problem with your nuts. If you're shaking it more than twice, then you're playing with it!

If you mean it leaks from the join where it swivels , you may be able to repair it if it can be dismantled. There may be an o-ring that can be replaced.

If you have the make and /or model number you can often look it up and get a part number.

If its a cheap faucet assembly that ccant be dismantled you may have to replace it.
