Hundreds of thousands, millions? He sounds as credible as Trump claiming the size of his audience on inauguration day. I don't doubt that some cops were friendly towards the insurrectionists. About 30 percent of the population are diehard Trumpers, even now they insist he's the only candidate they will support. So why would it be so unusual for some cops to be supportive Jan 6, instead of doing their jobs? It doesn't change the overall picture of what we saw that day, the violence, the destruction, busted out windows and doors, cops assaulted. Those charged for this are having their cases heard, they can make their claims, present their evidence for their particular circumstances. Here;s one that was convicted, went to jail and only later finally realized they were being conned:

What is unusual about this is that actors who stray off the reservation get black listed. The guy took a YUGE risk. McCarthy had noting over Hollywood.
