How to prepare onions for planting so they don't sprout

Before planting, be sure to carry out a simple treatment it will protect the planting material and help you get strong heads without sprouts.

What to do:

-️In 3 liters of warm water (about 60 C), dissolve 2 tablespoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of wood ash.

-️Add a little potassium permanganate to make the solution dark pink.

-️Immerse the onion bulbs in the mixture and hold them for about 2 hours, then plant them.

This preparation disinfects the onions, strengthens them, and reduces the risk of sprouting.
