Help me before I commit a crime!

I guess you didn't read the part that said they do this on a regular basis.

And please explain how people who are too brain dead to even provide a caregiver or shelter to a dog would work with all the warm and fuzzy suggestions you have.

You seem to be insinuating that this is my problem, and that I am the one who needs to get things straight.

Maybe the PETA guys will bring dog yummies, and quiet down the pooch?

Well trained dogs never do those things. When dogs do those things, it's the irresponsible owners that I can't stand. Pure laziness on the owners part, just like the owners that left the dogs for Steve to deal with instead of making arrangements for them to stay in kennel. No excuse for it.

As long as cat owners take care of their cats properly, I like cats, but letting them run loose as many cat owners do, is totally irresponsible and plain laziness on their part too. Hopefully, you're not one of them.

Yeah. Nothing's worse than being kept awake all night by barking cats.

My cat shows no interest at all in going outside. Hunting mice in the garage is about as close to outside as she wants to get.

The worthless owners of the dogs should share that fate.

Here in Las Vegas, Animal Control will tell you to "try and work it out with the neighbor". Then when you file a complaint, they want two more from surrounding neighbors, before they act. One day an Animal Control Officer was parked along a street in my area (one block from my house), so I stopped and explained the constant barking next door. I politely asked the Officer to "drive by" the house to observe what was going on. She would not do this, but instead handed me another damn complaint form.

When the opportunity presented itself, I sold and moved across town.

I don't like seeing them flattened in the street, or killed by other animals. It's animal cruelty as far as I'm concerned, as well as laziness on the owners part for not wanting to maintain a cat box, or even care about their animal. If you don't want to take care of them, don't get them.

Glad to hear it Pete, I'm sure your cat is well loved and cared for.

My cat goes outdoors, but still yells at the door when she wants to use the litter box. She stays on the property. She keeps squirrels out of the garden. And, she doesn't make obnoxious noises.

I can say the same thing for some humans. In fact I have more respect for a dog than I do some humans.

Yes, particularly those humans who keep noisy, filthy, worthless dogs...

So anyway, it's Tuesday. Is your useless animal control department back from the holiday?

The problem with cats is they kill everything they can catch. Pretty soon the only thing living in the neighborhood is rats. That is the only thing that can breed faster than cats can kill them and they rise to the available food supply left when everything else is dead.

Perhaps in a city. Here in the country there are a number of outdoor cats in the neighborhood, and there is no shortage of birds, squirrels, field mice, moles, snakes, etc.

No idea, all my neighbors have cats (and/or horses), no filthy dogs in the immediate area.

Right answer to wrong question! :-) Have you yelled at the animal control idiots yet today?

JoeSpareBedroom

No, I have not as I do not presently have an animal control problem. Perhaps check with Steve B. since he's the one reporting the disturbance.
