Google bus schedules match bus company's

I have to have "small" surgery, a TURP, ugh, and I can't drive there because they won't let me drive home. So I'm taking the bus in the middle of the night, when they don't run frequently, and I've been comparing the bus schedule as listed in Google Maps with the schedule from the MTA website.

And they are the SAME. Google continues to amaze me.

The Baltimore bus system has real time reverse-GPS for its buses, etc. That is, I give it the number of the bussstop and on the PC or the phone it says how long until the next bus on each line arrives. I wasn't standing there so I don't know if it was right, but I saw the number decrease until it said arrived.

Google also suggested I take the bus to the subway. Again, google was clever. That would save me about 5 minutes, but I'd have to ride in a hole in the ground.

Last time I did this, for surgery on my neck, I didn't have data for my phone, but I did have a watch and the bus came exactly on time.

Surgery started (and starts also this time) at 7:30AM and they want me there at 5:30** and I have to catch the bus at 4:40. Considering the hour, there were a lot of people on it the last time, including a cute girl. **I don't think it takes 2 hours to get me ready, so it must just be to keep me from being late. Last time I think they came in a little later than I did.
