Been there. There are four separate sects controlling different parts of the church. They've been at odds with each other for over a thousand years.
Same thing with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem (one more sect controls the roof). The church was damaged during the 1976 earthquake and parts were in danger of collapsing. Each sect was overly sensitive to the needed repairs as in "you're not putting that brace on MY wall!".
The Israeli Minister of Religion (a Jew) stepped in to the fray and said "The holiest sight in Christianity is not going to fall down on MY watch. You four will get together and hire an architect to get this thing fixed or I'll do it myself!"
For possibly the first time since the church was built by the wife of Constantine in the fourth century, the four groups reluctantly found something to agree on.
