I'm looking for a slim immersion heater for a non-domestic application (*) and those fitted to electric towel rails look very promising - and they are easily available - even Screwfix stock them. But although the various suppliers give the power rating and the fact that they are (mostly) 1/2" BSP fitting, non that I can find quote the length of the immersed element which is an important parameter for me. Anyone know or can point to a site quoting length versus power rating?
(* Application is to pre-heat the oil in the sump of a large diesel generator)
