Some reading for those thinking of buying an EV and rewiring their houses for a charger.

Like every thing else the government does, the rebates were politicized to things like needing union labor and US made batteries.

The rebates get eaten up by the manufacturers who just raise their prices. Also it is the wealthier people buying EV's and they are subsidized by less wealthy tax payers.

Idiocracy reigns today.
