I have a door lock which is similar to this in the photo
The problem is the deadbolt won't turn. When I removed the lock from the door and greased it, it could be turned by hand freely, without much resistance. However, once it's installed on the door, it can't be turned by hand. I have to use a pair of pliers to turn it. It's the initial stage that's very difficult to turn. If I lock or open the deadbolt all the way, so the tongue is all the way out or in. Then, it can't be turned by hand. If I use a pair of pliers to turn the deadbolt partially (so, it is not fully locked or open), then, it can be turned by hand. But once it's fully locked or open, only pliers would work.
Has anyone experienced this before?
