Hi,
Ooops!! ;)
Many are removable, but you may be able to remove the cap and flush out the dispensor by squirting water into it with something like a turkey baster.

running it a few times didn't work, as the detergent is too thick to be expelled from the dispenser. leaving the refill door open doesn't wash it out either. turkey baster is helping, but now full of water and still detergent in there.
the door is attached with star screws, and I don't ha. It is a Bosch SHX46A, and I have not yet found a "repair" manual online.
While still under warranty, the service techs are less than enthusiastic about being able to get to me to service the unit. __________________________ Totus Tuus Claudia Satori
Keep at it. At least it is getting diluted but it may take a few fill and empty cycles. The star screws are torx. You can buy torks screwdrivers at any hardware store, even Wal Mart
But is operator error covered? It is not a factory defect so it may not be covered and you will have to pay. Ed
OK found a star bit in another power drill set. got door off, but there does not appear to be anyway to get the rinse aid reservoir out and it has ALOT of detergent at the bottom. used HOT water and baster. any other ideas - or any one know how to disassemble the soap/rinse aid assembly, without ending up with springs and sprockets everywhere? __________________________ Totus Tuus Claudia Satori
Taking it apart is probably best, but, . . . . . At least now you can see what is going on. Is it possible to get a pipe cleaner or small flexible brush in there? Stir it up , use the baster, repeat a few times.
Or perhaps you can attach a piece of flexible vinyl tubing (available at any hdwe store) to the turkey baster and suck out the liquid. Then fill with clean water as a rinse and suck that out too.

EVEN BETTER than all the other GREAT suggestions that you all gave me - THANK YOU! Got a syringe for inject solutions into meat - all clean now! YEAH - you guys rock! __________________________ Totus Tuus Claudia Satori
replying to Claudia, monnbeamrx wrote: after syringing out the detergent from the rinse aid holes (had to use a rx syringe with 20Guage needle) then fill rinse aid with vinegar and suck that out, but easier than the detergent, you can overfill with the vinegar and then run the dishwasher with cups full of vinegar with NO detergent, run a few cycles.
I've read that vinegar can disintegrate the rubber gaskets in your dishwasher rinse aid dispenser.
