Is it possible to contact a credit card company - Visa, Mastercard, etc. - and have them block specific companies from charging? If so how? On line at their site? Email?

On the back of your credit card, often in small-print, is a toll free phone number that will connect you to Customer Service - perhaps try that for a useful answer - as opposed to the replies from a world-wide home repair newsgroup. John T.
Someone who asks this question shouldn't be allowed credit, you goddamned f****ng idiot!
