Have a grill that the knobs have melted at the stem can't find replacements because the diameter is about 1 7/8 and overall length is 2 3/8", any one have any ideas?

Take the old knob to a local shop that sells gas grills or an appliance parts shop. Also, sometimes parts like that will have a number stamped on them and just putting that into google works.

That may work. if not, try

and see if you can find anything. That is the problem with no=name products, never know what to look for for parts.

Or, check with local recyclers (junkers?).
