Blinking Oil Light On Cub Cadet

The light kept blinking. Oil level was full and very clean; in fact, theunit had just been thru its very thorough annual servicing just two monthsearlier. And so it went to the shop where they changed oil and installed anew filter. A note on the invoice said, "Oil light will stop blinking in 3hrs."Sure enough, it did stop blinking although much earlier than 3 hrs. Whatwas the cause for the blinking oil light? I was expecting them to say thatthere was some problem with the oil being pumped into the moving parts, butthere's no mention of oil pump failure or anything like that.

I had the blinking light changed oil and filter light stopped blinking when pro was engaged

it comes on and off every 50 hours whether you changed the oil or not it is a oil reminder indicator of every 50 hours it is not resettable it just comes on then goes off if you change the oil before or after the light it will still cycle every 50 hours it does not know whether you changed the oil or not.

That's a bad way to engineer a mechanism, all they had to do was say if the oil light is blinking, and you started the tractor with the reverse button held down, clear the light.
