Another refrigerator post !

Anything built before the 80s is probably going to be torn down around here. The only other likely option is it would be a rental. Because of flood insurance you pretty much need to be a cash buyer who is willing to self insure for flood.

I dropped into the Stratford Re-Store a couple days ago - they had 4 ranges that were pre-digital ! ... just sayin' :-) John T.

You can still buy fully analog ranges. at least in the USA

lots more too. Commonly installed in low rent apartments and homes - or cottagea/camps - and also by tocal consrvative mennonites like the Dave Martins/Reborns around Linwood / Wallenstein.

All the ones at the Stratford Re-Store all had clock+timers on the back panel - I don't think that they were very new ... John T.

Post reminds me of problem I had with Whirlpool range a while back. Range is kaput but just yesterday, Whirlpool sent me offer to buy extended warranty for that POS.

Our refrigerator must be at least 25 years old. Wife tells me not so say anything near it as it may die too.
