It took many years for engineers to find that nature knows aerodynamics better than man. Look at the profiles of a falcon and sophisticated airplane.

Very interesting.
Have you noticed the little upturned ends of airplane wings, that most large commercial airplanes (other than stealth bombers) have in the last several years. Those were adopted in imitation of bird wings. I'm not sure but maybe recent high speed photography enabled people to see that bird wings looked like this when the birds are in flight.

Lilienthal was studying the aerodynamics of storks in 1889. His work was the basis for the Wright brothers first gliders and then powered flight. I don't know what airfoil design was used but the storks were impressive STOL planes.

I see a lot of links to news sites, that DON'T point to what the poster claims. It often has to do with sites that can change what's posted without changing the URL. There's also long links that some news program broke.
Well isn't that just because most people don't take philophy seriously? Many don't pay any attention to it.
