If it has a pilot light..Clean or replace the pilot jet, readjust..along with replacing the thermocouple. Recommend having a service company do this along with total safety/tune-up check of furnace including Carbon Monoxide check and to be sure to have Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors correctly installed and working. A properly tuned furnace(with good and clean filters) can save you fuel money and cut down on dust etc through the home. S proper HEPA filter will also kill allergens and other germs/bacteria cutting down on airborne illnesses.
