-is there any pcmci card that would control moisture, temeprature and lights in a small green house?
-or is there a way to control that over the table computer? and what would it be?

You might look into X-10 technology. There is a variety of inexpensive modules that can be used to turn lights and equipment on and off. There are also inexpensive relay boards that can accept input from devices like humidistats and send a signal. The devices can be controlled with stand-alone controllers and/or with your computer. There is share-ware available to schedule events and use "if-then" logic to trigger events. You can buy X-ten hardware here:
