After some neglect (fun busy days), I checked the garden today.
Brought in a couple handfuls of plum tomatoes (Black Plum) and a cucumber that was larger than I should have allowed, but still in fine condition.
So lunch was a cucumber & tomato salad. Far safer than the salads in the headlines.
I think in about a week, maybe two, I'll be gathering for pickle relish and tomato sauce.
Hopefully also drying basil, though this may not be the year for bulk pesto. Good intentions.
Rain would be good, especially since the well is challenged. It keeps showing up in the forecast as 3-4 days away, and then poof.
