My kitchen has quarry or earthenware tiles, but the previous owner laid lino or vinyl (not sure) on top and stuck it down with adhesive. Any suggestions on getting the adhesive off the tiles - it's pretty solid and can be scraped off with a metal scraper, but it's slow hard work, and still leaves traces.
