Hi

Its been on last legs for a while but today i condemned it.

Looking for a 900mmH x 600mmD x 500mmW gas cooker. found a few on the web but some state 750mm Min distance required but what does the 750mm mean? is that in the 600mmD?

There must be a minimum level of clearance between the top of the cooker and the bottom of the upper cupboards or hood (British standard is 760mm, some appliances may require less) but also see the installation instructions for a extractor hood, if it differs from the cooker the greater of the two must be taken. Its all in the gas installation and use regulations.

Thanks

We do seem to comply but at the back of the cooker there is a stud wall which i will have to take a slice out of as its covered in chipboard.
