Had deck redone with treated wood but waited 3 years to put solid grey deck stain on. Prior to staining washed with soap and bleach and rinsed many times. Peeling everywhere. Thinking porch or marine paint better. Advice please.
Any paint bad. Paint does not work nor for long on horizontal and flat surfaces that get wet. And no, you didn't put Solid Stain on initially, that was paint. Stains don't ever peel and are the only color change to use. Or, go with the ONLY best wood-look choice if the deck gets Sun, One-Time Wood Protector
