A good buddy of mine's dad lives in a "Sears" house that was put up by his gradfather - excellent quality brick home that you'd never suspect was mail ordered.

I rather suspect those "built-like-a-fortress" mail-order brick homes will be standing long after the track home crap from many US home builders will be decrepit ghettos.
