Acoustical Sealant

Does this actually work when you put it between the Gyproc and the studs?? Is it worth the mess and money?

I'm using it on my vapour barrier.

Thanks,

what are you using it for precisely? at any rate, acoustical sealant basically doesn't "dry"--it remains flexible. try dropping a blob on your step ladder and sticking your hand in it 3 weeks later and you'll find out. staying flexible is important whether it is used on your vapor barrier or in a situation where you are trying to block sound transmission. > >
