Architectural Industry Specialist Job in Columbia, MD

Our client is looking for an Architectural Industry Specialist for a fulltime position in Columbia MD.

As a key member of the team you will work closely with their most valued customers-including AIA award design firms-to help them develop "best practices" and ensure their success through proper use of our computer- aided design software. You will also work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver effective product demonstrations and serve as a consulting resource providing industry knowledge and expertise to the sales process. Through your experience and gathered feedback you'll work with the product development teams to help close the loop and develop user requirement to help improve the software.

Responsibilities: Provide design, business knowledge, and experience to help the sales team close sales opportunities. Develop and evaluate product demonstrations to assist in the sales process Deliver demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing customers including: client site visits, user group meetings, trade shows and other events. Serve as architectural consultant for sales, marketing, technical support, and development teams Maintain an advanced technical understanding of the company's offerings and competitive software.

Requirements:

3+ years of design experience in the building industry as an architect, senior designer or CAD manager Familiarity with building design process and project management BS/BA degree; BArch Dynamic personality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidence of peers Travel when needed Technical sales experience a plus AutoCAD, AutoCAD Revit Series, Architectural Desktop (ADT), Archicad, VectorWorks product experience a plus.
