I have a PC 8529 variable speed soft start router. It is very clean and hasn't had much use. The motor speed is all over the place and it sometimes stops. The brushes and com commutater are clean. Any suggestions? max
I would suspect the variable speed electronics.
Does it act differently if you set the speed control to maximum ?
If it is still in warrenty consider sending it in for repair.
