TOT Driving in Russia

Apparently in Russia it is normal to have dash cameras to support or disprove insurance claims.

Apparently it's also normal for:

Trees and telegraph poles to fall down a lot. Vehicle road wheels to fall off a lot (and that this isn't widely viewed as a reason to stop the vehicle). To listen to loud and dreadful pop music whilst driving very fast.

Perhaps it's just once dash-camera that's captured lots of accidents?

Probably the same here these days, I know a number of cyclists who use them also, on their helmets. Brian

I thought 0:14 was cool...until I saw 4:19

Soundtrack @ 0:58 so appropriate

Someone clearly thought they could park like Russ Swift @ 1:56

Having to explain 4:00 on your insurance claim form

Leaving the scene @ 5:30

WTF were they thinking @ 8:15 ?

Got to admire the horse at 00:34. He just *knows* he has right of way on the crossing. And he's also just totally ignored by the pedestrians...

I have a RoadHawk camera in my car, which also records my speed and shows where I am on the map.

From the outfit, he might have been a Policeman.

I think the horse on the pedestrian crossing has the most sense!

I often wonder if Ivan is taught to drive on the dogems at the local funfair's. Or perhaps he's leant his skills in the local Vodka distillery or perhaps a combination of both!...

Seriously a relative spent some time driving in Russia and shes remarked that some spiritual being must have been keeping watch over her as she survived on the roads there..

Its almost, all the time, seems that Ivan needs to keep warm with copious amounts of a flammable imbibed liquid;!!...

One of the 3 accidents I saw in a day in Germany was like a lot of those in the video: woman got into her car and did a u-turn straight into oncoming traffic.

that's where socialism leads in the end. To copious intakes of alcohol to numb the pain.

You can see it on any sink estate or hight street on any FRiday night.
