need to know what would be most durable paint on trad window of redwood with linseed oil putty. Normally not an issue as I take touching up as necessary for granted, but access here is difficult and I want the paint to stay on in good condition. Any suggestions? Or should I just stick with alu primer and Dulux?

cheers Jacob

I once attended a painting course and we had a demonstration by a company who specialise in this type of situation. They were able to provide a 10 year guarantee when using their paint on windows (backed up by evidence) they have a paint that allows the moisture out of the paint but without spoiling the finish. The company were SIKKENS (check spelling) maybe look them up and see whats on offer. Hope this helps

Available from Crown Decorator Centres. Sounds like microporous paint which is also available from other suppliers.
