Worth a look - but be sure to read the reviews!

Most of mine cost a fiver from CPC
That must be why I only get crap and endless repeats on TV
And no man on man action at all :-(
I'll stick to the £2.10 ones and get my coat.
One of mine is a Tesco Value HDMI lead ... needed it quicker than a £2 special from ebay, but wasn't about to spend £20+ from currys/comet/etc.
LMAO... Those are some classy comments. Only Douglas Adams RIP could have penned better.
Which contains this enlightening statement:
"Electronic devices tend to fail either very early in their life or towards the end."
!Thank you, Bob.
I read the actual maagzine today (catching up on the backlog) and thought it worth repeating!
I'll leave it to you
Yes that does seem to lose some of the nuances of the bathtub curve concept! ;-)
But it does take into account the plughole near the end; most bathtub curves don't. Note: this all depends on which way round the bathtub is confogured.
Mentally, I always have mine end on - save worrying about the plughole or the taps ;-)
Four.
Camp 4 couldn't give a bollocks either way, thinking the clarity and balance of the sound comes a distant second to what's being played.
Now don't be giving me ideas...........

Five.
Camp 5 knows that digital cables either work or they don't. They make sod all difference to the sound. Much like CD players make bugger all difference to the sound if you aren't using their internal DAC.
Well play something crap and good quality reproduction won't improve it. But play something you like, and poor reproduction can spoil it for me.
ogden burbled...
Hah, well of course, but your camp is one of two meta camps, to which the three I quoted belong to the other side.
... or if you are using the internal DAC. CD players have all sounded the same for the past twenty years.
Depends if ye are into 'musical wallpaper' or 'concentrated listening'.
To do the former does not require any specialised equipment or media. Just something that sounds nice with a whistleable catchy melody, hearing and understanding the lyrics optional. Or optional lyrics altogether. Er, Classic FM.
Those who appreciate music as a performance thankfully still have a market to choose items that can really make the difference, to imagine that ye are live at the recording session, really intimate with the artist. It's the closest I can get to Kate Bush....
(er, opps - I just said that out loud didn't I.....)
:-)
That would be untrue, there are different DACs and different filters out there and they do sound different.
However with an external DAC even the cheap player in a PC sounds the same. They even sound the same if you play them off a HD as long as you use uncompressed formats.
