Can anyone provide source info on the glass tape used to join sanding belts? This stuff is extremely strong and has glass fibers that run across the tape, rather than along it.

I have made spot repairs doing exactly that. Having a roll of that 1" - 1 1/2" wide, or wider, would be really nice for V-grooving as well. (Probably the ONLY raison d'etre for a RAS?) Makes for a quick/slick way to make drawer boxes
