Removing light Tung Oil (?) finish from guitar...

In short...take it to a luthier. At greater length...it is best to be cautious about messing around with a stringed instrument like this, as the sound is a complex mixture of the responses of the wood and finish to vibration. "Hand Made Music" is a great program to watch to learn about this. So...post a few more details. For example...how do you know it is a Tung Oil finish? Why are you needing to remove it? How old is the instrument? What is your ongoing goal here? Almost anyone that posts to this group needs more than a
