Their new sander, as well as any new Porter Cable tool is (will be) a piece of crap. Black and Darker is moving Porter Cable down the scale of quality to be positioned below Dewalt. Dewalt will to be their top line.
IMO, Dewalt was never that high on the scale to begin with.

One positive thing about 'Cash for Clunkers' is that it took thousands of Obama bumper stickers off the road.
Don't even think I'd place PC at Weekend Warrior grade. I hope their Routers don't turn into crap. A few weeks ago I was sent a questionnaire to fill out online on what I thought of PC tools. You don't even want to know what I wrote. Don't think they will be sending me anymore.
