I have multiple email accounts. One of them doesn't do much filtering, so I get all the spam. Including what seems like an endless stream of Nigerian etc. funds transfer ones.
I suppose someone must still fall for them or the spammers would give up. Or are the spammers themselves being scammed by someone claiming instant riches and charging them to send out the messages?
Almost seems like the 2nd would be more likely :-).
