Just finished building a floating white mahagony staircase. I want to clearcoat them, but I'm not sure how. Suggestions?

If it were mine, and I wanted it to look good for Some Time and wear well, I'd use the best quality two-pot flooring grade polyurethane I can lay my hands on.

The best arbiter for that is whatever is printed on the tin(s). Most products also have 'data sheets' available, if you ask for them at any specialist shop, which will give you more in-depth information.

That isn't too comforting. I'll have trouble finding someone who speaks English. ;)

Please forgive an old man, but what is white mahagany? I'm familiar with Honduras and African, but I have never heard of white. Regards, Hank

Too lazy and too tired to do a Google Search. Just thought I'd ask a buddy I was having a chat with.
