I need to buy some 12 inch wide 5/4 maple to make some bar-stool seats. Can someone recommend a place to purchase from? I live in Virginia.

Sorry my first message was in html; I forgot to change the setting.
I'm not sure the seats would last over the long-haul if they're made the same way the old ones are, although that is subject to change; we're looking at different configurations. I would prefer them solid if possible, especially since maple has a tendency to move anyway. I've found a couple of places where I can buy the wood but knew there must be lots of places.

cousin is actually going to do the work. She just made us a wonderful kitchen table out of maple we had cut here on the farm years ago but I don't have enough good, wide stuff for the stools.
