That's the one, yes. He was kicked out of engineering school, y'know. If only he'd had an ego which allowed him to consult/trust an engineer, his buildings would have looked good _and_ been more sound.

Indeed! That's the dude who designed an 'artistic' beer warehouse in Wisconsin somewhere did he not? A Frank Lloyd Wright building to store American beer. How cool is THAT? Leave it to Frank to kick off his heels and do something worth-while.
Did he and Edgar Hoover ever meet?
