Bosch PS20 drill/driver

I picked up one of these new units for a specific task where a compact drill/driver and found that it exceeded my expectations and needs. If you haven't seen one, it is a rather small drill/driver that uses a 10.8 volt lithium-ion battery. The torque and battery life are much better than I would have thought possible in such a small package. It is so convenient that it will probably be the tool of choice when I want to put in a few screws. It is likely to be in my tool belt when I tackle household repairs.

I does not have as much torque as my 18v Dewalt, so I will still use that for big jobs.

The only limitation is that it has a 1/4" hex chuck rather than a regular drill chuck, so you can only use drill bits with hex shanks.

It has a small LED that turns on when you pull the trigger switch part way in. I thought this would be pretty much useless but I found it helpful when I was working in a tight space with poor lighting.

It's nice when a new tool actually exceeds expectations. This is one for me.

Thanks for the mini review, it's nice to know the driver is all it appears to be. As far as exceeding my expectations, I've found that to be true with most of the Bosch tools (I have quite a few). Looks like that mini driver might be the next to fall into the cart.--dave
