Air operated staple gun

I hope to buy an air operated staple gun tomorrow. My primary use will beto fasten screen wire and soffit boards around the perimeter of the storageshed for ventalation. Harbor freight has them as cheap as $19.95. I amlooking at the 1/4" crown style. Any suggestions? Gauge?

Noooo... wood product soffits like those on homes with original wood parts.
