Air Compressor Oilers

Mar 24, 2005 1 Replies

I just bought an air compressor and I have a question about how to install the mini oiler that I bought. My question is about the direction air should be flowing through the oiler. Should the air be flowing from the male end to the female end, or vice-versa? Below is a link to a picture of an identical item.

Check the casing. Often the manufacturer will have an arrow on the item somewhere showing the direction of flow. Not all do, but most regulators do at least. It might not be easily visible either (if there even is one).
