The over heat switch on my worcester 350 combi boiler cuts in if I use the hot water (taps only the shower is fine). All I have to do is flick the switch back and all is fine again. I got a plumber out to look at the problem and he couldn't work out what was one with the boiler can anyone help me with this problem. I think it overheats as the boiler kettles and then the fan comes on as it cuts out. Is there anyway I can find out what is wrong with the boiler.

if i remember a worcester 350 has 2 pumps--you may find your hot water pump has packed.up..although this doesnt make sence if your shower comes off the worcester .....
Like I say I can have a shower fine and the hot water is hot no problems. It is when I use the tap at a slower flow rate that I get the problems. Can anyone help? At least if I could find out hat is wrong with the boiler I can get it fixed. I would hate to spend lots of money replacing the hot water pump when somethig else is wrong with it.
LIKE I SAY
its Probery your hot water pump ((2 pumps)) not having the boiler in front of me it difficult to diagnose but you can test pump-- i was working of worcester 350's 13 years ago and they are not bad boilers
