wolf whistling at chicks ...

MPs have approved plans to make street sexual harassment (including wolf whistling) a crime carrying a jail sentence of up to two years.

the irony is that the females you see pushing for this are the ones in absolutely no danger of being wolf whistled

...............all the repulsive mingers, absolute growlers and big fatties of the day

best thing is for men to totally disengage from women.......if any try to engage, report them for harassment

let them fit their spare wheel on their own and cease all current niceties towards them, like women first

......I will be ok then, no teeth, so can't whistle.

I don't suppose that whistling will carry the maximum jail term, but some people can't carry a tune accurately, and of course they should be locked up, thus making the streets harmonious for the rest of us.

In short lardy old biffers.

Having once walked past a building site with a group of seven women of varying degrees of attractiveness, I doubt there are any females in that category.

Hope you like your static van and her having dumped all your electronic toys.

Is Nicola a woman... or a "they"?

I have told this one before. Some years ago a new electrician at our firm shouted something disgusting from a van window to a young lady walking her dog as he drove past.

Sign written van and she took her mobile phone out of her pocket and phoned the MD. Her first words when the phone call started was "Hello Dad"

Her first words when the phone call started WERE "Hello Dad".

the 18th-century grammarians who denounced the horror of non-agreement pointed most often to examples from the Bible, Shakespeare, Pope, Dryden, and Swift. Not bad company to keep.

OK this post was semi meant in jest, but it is indeed strange how social conventions change in just a few years. In the canteen at my place of work back in the 80s, I witnessed a group of the office ladies talking about this. One said It really cheered me up this morning when I got a wolf whistle from a guy on a building site. Most of the ladies agreed, that as long as it was just an appreciative wolf whistle it was nice. One lady did suggest that it made girls a sex object, but then the others piled in with, well if we wear short skirts and tight clothing, are we not just as guilty of provoking the response? From what my eavesdropping told me was, if its just a wolf whistle and a thumbs up then fine, but some don't leave it there, saying loudly, look at the t*ts on that or worse that is rather the problem. and sadly, I think this is the direction it has gone now, changing an innocent bit of praise into a a objectification of women as not people who can be offended, just like blokes. Brian

she is not stupid like all the rest....

was he stupid enough to sack them ?

That's why she is going to pull the plug on you.

Considering that life expectancy in your business is reduced unless you are reasonably thoughtful and careful, it seems strange how many complete idiots there are in the electrician trade.

>

No, the complete idiots are in general plumbers and bricklayers

no chance started going with her when she was 17 thought I knew her when she was 8 coz I was going with her big sister...tee hee
