I am in the process of dividing what originally was a bedroom that has had a conservatory added. The wall will span the opening of what was the window for that bedroom. Since the room has no other source of daylight, I am using a Pattern 10 door to access the conservatory and I am planning on a high level window in the stud wall both to allow daylight from the conservatory into the bedroom.
The question is do I have make the window in the stud wall an opener for ventilation purposes or will a simple pane of glass do?
