Why paste the wall ?

Nice one, I didn't see that coming :-)

Neutral background colour, soft tone floral, many subtle shades colours, sometimes mica & soft texturing for depth at certain angles,

78cm repeat as well as silly price. Others are neutral colour but mica watermark - watch these because they can be a right pain re pattern repeat as you need your head some distance to the side, on some it is random but not all.

They are not the current "binary colour, strident, ghastly design" wallpapers out there like "makeovers use" (is it me or do they make your eyes boggle?!)

One thing to watch with some papers is registration & pattern repeat. Papers that require 5min soak change significantly in width, only a little in length. Registration seems to be getting worse these days, the "designer papers" can have poor edge trimming resulting in gaps. Examine wallpaper carefully beyond batch number.

I've always tried to keep one spare roll of any paper I use, specifically for this sort of thing. Most are wasted as the paper is eventually replaced, but a couple of times it's saved a hell of a lot of work and expense.

Whatever you do, don't get rid of it. If you do, sod's law says that, within a week, something totally unremoveable will be spilt on part of the wall necessitating that bit being repapered. ;o)
