What’s next?

In the space of one week, first the dishwasher started losing its marbles and failing to finish programs, then the old microwave died, only to be restored to life by the jiggling of carrying it across the room to put on a table for the repair man and then our smart gas meter showed that we were using 0.25 kWhrs of gas a day, even when we were away on holiday.

Dishwasher got a new brain, microwave healed itself and today I fitted a refurbished and tested gas valve to our old boiler (apparently it’s now obsolete) which has abolished the leak that was bypassing the gas control valves.

Wondering which bit of tech is going to be attention seeking next… ;-)

With The Crooked House pub being in the news, have you checked the foundations lately? :-)

Well, Internet no doubt. That seems the logical next step. Of course I am having my water meter swapped out next week as it seems its beyond Thames water to cope with some condensation on the glass over the front of the current one to read it. Brian
