It doesn't look any different to me on my screen - but I didn't follow the link.

Google

The link was just about logging having disasterous effects on the climate. I posted the Google link as it is universal to all users.

I didn't like the look of the new set up in Google when I first saw it but I think I can get used to it. I use Mailgate.org as a server as it holds all the threads in a group in situ no matter how far you wish to go back.

You can't just open their site to the latest stuff though for some reason. Not unless you log in. And they are closed to non Italians at the moment.

The old Google set up lost it after a few months although you could still get to links and threads if you knew what to search for (and they haven't been mangled by crackers.) I have not tried out the present set up for those features.

Oh, in tht case I'll go back and open it, thanks.

I think you're talking about groups on google ... I rarely go there and have no experience of how it's changed.

That's a strange thing!

Thanks for explaining, I hope I've got it right now :-)
