What is this camera?

Probably local council. Any antisocial behaviour nearby? Fly tipping?

Assuming this is not an old message, then most councils are doing the old internet of things thing to catch motorists and fly tippers. Brian

It looks like a tubular camera housing mounted vertically on a lamp-post, with a lens at the bottom looking out at about 45 degrees to horizontal and vertical, probably facing across the width of a road, although there's not a wide enough view to be able to say for certain.

It looks similar to one I used to see on a road near me, which was pointing almost vertically downwards as if it was looking at a section of the road surface very close to the pole that it was mounted on.

A close-up of the blue logo on it might help, but I doubt Mr HoH will be back ...
