Hoping anyone can advise me on this.
I have an inward opening casement window in a basement conversion. At the moment there is a simple catch holding it shut but this is obviously not very secure. I want it to be lockable & secure but also be able to leave it open a bit unattended, maybe with some kind of lockable device.
I was thinking of an espagnolette type lock but this won't give me the ability to leave the window a little for ventilation. (It does have trickle vents but there are times when you need more than this.) Before I go & spend a fortune on an espagnolette, which won't do all I want, does anyone have any neat solutions to this? Thanks,
Roger
