Warmflow Oil Boiler

Apr 07, 2006 2 Replies

My heating system boils up into the header tank from the boiler when the domestic hot water , has heated up.This is since I have changed the program for the water to be heated before the Central Heating ( Previously switched on to-gether) I think maybe the Drayton Tank thermostat HT S 3 may be at fault, or what else may cause this? Any ideas appreciated Regards E

firstly is it the feed and expansion tank or the cold water storage? next what boiler is it and is it "y" or "s" plan piped

Does the boiler have its own thermostat which you could set to a lower setting?

You should also check that the hot water tank thermostat is working by listening for clicks, and/or inspecting inside with power off. Also check that any zone valves are moving freely.
