Irrespective of where to find it the lot number is an probably an indicator that the colour may be slightly different on each production run BUT it is likely that the colour of the original has changed if it has been wall for any length of time and a new roll perhaps months or year later will not be a perfect colour match.

If the paper is on more than one wall then replacing all the paper on one wall can disguise the colour mismatch. It's much like saving paint for a touch-up later and finding that the original has faded or even changed colour and you need to paint a larger area than just the bit that initially required the small touch-up.

Hmm. I stopped going to our nearest recycling centre when they got very picky about me dropping off our domestic chest freezer in my VW Passat!

I suspect our left overs will all be beyond their re-usable life. My plan is to combine it with sawdust/shavings and then lose it in the domestic waste..
