I wish to install some led walkover recessed floor lighting into a 22mm oak floor laid over a block and beam base, im guesing its not possible the oak floor has not been laid yet, is it possible to recess into these block and beam floors? The lamps require 85mm depth min.

You normally screed at least 75mmm over a block and beam floor. And about 50mm of insulation too, if its ground floor.
There should be plenty of depth without compromising the B & B structural integrity..look at your plans and see what is specified, and remember to lay the beams about 150mm below finished floor.. Oh..the B&B is in already?
Well did they screed it or not? and insulate it? How far is it below required finished floor?
Micromark do a 20mm deep fitting - it's smaller so you might need to fit more of them, but would at least fit. Available from
